Minh P. Thieu, MD

Dr. Thieu is a clinical instructor at the University of Pennsylvania, in addition to serving the medical needs of her patients at Atlantic Skin and Cosmetic Surgery Group. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University's accelerated six year medical program. She finished her B.Sc. in Premed-Med studies at Pennsylvania State University in 1999, and her MD degree (Magna Cum Laude) at the Jefferson Medical College in 2001. Dr. Thieu ranked among the top 10 students of her medical school class. Following a one-year Internship at the Crozer Chester Medical Center until June 2002, she enrolled for her Dermatology Residency in the Division of Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where she completed her residency in June 2005. Dr. Thieu is also trained in anesthetic phlebology and Tumescent Liposuction (the safest and most effective technique) by Jeffrey Klein, MD, the inventor for the technique.

She has a strong background in medical and surgical dermatology, and she is also keenly interested in serving the cosmetic dermatology needs of her patients via laser skin resurfacing procedures, injectables (Botox, etc.) and fillers (Restylane, etc.). She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Thieu works out of our Malvern and Wilmington offices.
